Welcome! I’ve decided that after much deliberation, I would throw my hat into the blog game. My hope is to keep up with this and keep this updated rather regularly. However, life (and 10-month olds) have a tendency to keep me from getting various community work done.
My goal is to blog about some of my day-to-day interactions with various tools I use to automate and orchestrate a virtualization environment at my place of employment. Currently, I’m in the midst of a deployment of Cisco’s UCS Director to be the main orchestration engine to interact with a multitude of Cisco Nexus gear, along with multiple Cisco UCS domains (which will be managed by UCS Central in the very near future). Included in this is a migration from using the main VMware Distributed Virtual Switch to the Cisco Nexus 1000v.
To say we are becoming a Cisco shop would, most likely, be an understatement. 🙂
